PRODUCT REVIEW: Waitrose ECOlogical Washing up liquid

I was excited to find Waitrose at @hypercityindia so I thought I’ll give it a try! This is an ecological biodegradable washing up liquid (grapefruit and eucalyptus) used basically to do the dishes.

Pros :
It smells just divine. It is quite a concentrated liquid, so sometimes just a tablespoon is enough. I also use its solution to clean the countertops in the kitchen. Does the job pretty well.

Cons :
Rs.370 for 500ml is quite exhorbitant. Right now it is only available at Hypercity stores and I don’t think they are going to restock owing to the price of the products. Wanted to try ecover laundry detergent but that entire range was missing 🙁

The product comes in a PET bottle which is commonly recycled in India, but it is pretty useful for reusing around the house with DIY projects.

Verdict: Moving on to find more ecological and affordable options which do the job pretty well.
